NEAPEN HIGHLANDERS BOWLS REGION CALENDAR 2025/26

To all Nepean Highlanders Bowlers,

We are pleased to announce that our regional calendar has been approved by the State. As you may be aware, the State recently made changes to the Conditions of Play (COP) for Men’s and Women’s Pennants. However, after careful consideration, the Match Committee has decided to maintain our original submission.

Why?
By sticking to our original plan, we have freed up the months of September to December with no regional events. This allows clubs the flexibility to run their Club Championships and other events without scheduling conflicts.

Regional Events Schedule:

July & August 2025 – Singles, Pairs, and Triples competitions
February 14-15, 2026 – Regional Fours Championship

Pennants Schedule:

Women’s Pennants – Starts Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM with 8 rounds
Open Pennants – Starts Saturday, February 28, 2026, Could be 6 rounds or 7 rounds or 10 rounds this will depend on how many teams we get
- Followed by a new Finals Series over 3-4 weekends, depending on team numbers
- Grades 1/2/3 – First past the post or Final series
- Grades 4/5/6/7 – Finals structure: Minor Semi → Major Semi → Preliminary Final → Grand Final
- A finalized format will be determined once nominations are received
Men’s Pennants – Starts Wednesday, April 8, 2026, with 6 rounds at 10:00 AM
